Graduated with high distinction from the University of Poonch, Rawalakot, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan in 2017 where I earned comprehensive honour in Pharmacy, while simultaneously I completed my final year project.
The topic of my final year project was ‘’Prevalence Factors of Diabetes Mellitus in Azad kashmir’’. I have experience in designing and carrying out experiments, testing drugs and writing technical reports.
During my Hospital internship in CDA Hospital (Capital Hospital Islamabad) I made more emphasis on the treatment of Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes Mellitus also attend rotations with different Physicians to improve knowledge. These learning opportunities motivated by long-time interests in cardiometabolic Syndrome and treatment strategies. In the coming years, I am eager to investigate genetic factors influence cardiometabolic syndromes and their ultimate prevention and treatment strategies. I also immersed myself in a wide variety of co-curricular activities. During my graduation, with the collaboration of our supervisor, we arranged different seminars to promote bench-to-bedside knowledge about diseases and medicines. I have attended different Crash courses for junior Doctors. I have won inter-university badminton championship for Department of Pharmacy and also played for University football team.
Now I am Doing Master in Computational Biology at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). I am looking forward to investigate how genetic and environmental diversity jointly influence cardiometabolic diseases and cancer. I aim for an academic career combining basic and translational research in oncology.
