I have lived in spain for the last two years with my husband and daughter.. I work at a private english school in alicante, as a teaching assistant, i work with children from 5 years up to 12 years old, my work involves teaching the children to read english, supporting the teacher in other lessons, maths, english & art and supporting the children in other activities when needed.
Before leaving the uk for spain i was an ofsted registered child minder, i did this for two years, i looked after children from the ages of 3 months to 10 years old. I have many years experience of looking after children, working in nursery’s/playgroups and schools. In the past i have been a nanny in uk and abroad. I also had plenty of experience of looking after my own family and my friends children and enjoyed my time with them.
I have completed the national vocational qualification level 2 in children’s care and learning development, and have a level 3 diploma in children's care and young people in the work force. I have successfully completed the specific first aid courses needed to look after children, child protection courses and many eyfs training courses.
I am looking for work during the school holidays - easter and summer although i would also be willing to do weekends when needed.
