Teach seville scheme - jan 2017 – march 2017 -

I was selected to take part in the teach seville scheme, run by red ochre. Along with six other tefl teachers that had qualified in the last 12 months, i took part in a two month placement in seville. In my placement i was given a huge amount of responsibility and freedom. I was the english teacher for a project based business, third sector international. My students were all adults, and worked in various sectors based in the building and surrounding area.

I assessed the level of all the new students, scheduled all the lessons (groups at different levels and one to ones), chose the various syllabuses, taught all of the lessons, and was also tasked with helping to train a teacher that was doing his tefl course.

Tefl teacher – july 2016 -

After completing my celta course, achieving a pass a grade, i began teaching private one to one lessons at different levels, from a2 to c1. I taught grammar and the four main skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). I helped to prepare a student for her cae exam.
