Hi, I am native English, proficient in reading writing and speaking British English. Welcome to my page.
I moved to Catalonia with my husband to renovate a Finca. My work at the property includes all types of administration and physical duties, including; scheduling works; keeping records; budget control; cleaning and liaising with people. I also work in the grounds attending to the land and fruit trees, when possible I do maintenance and plumbing myself.
In my spare time, I began babysitting local children on a voluntary basis. I enjoyed this so much; I decided to qualify as a teacher of English and completed my 120hour TEFL course. I currently teach one-to-one, both online and face-to-face. I have regular students whom attend weekly lessons. I thoroughly enjoy sharing my language and making a difference in peoples’ lives. I strive to support people with a lifelong skill, to become competent in the English language.
In England I had over 30 years working in all aspects of entertainment in various venues and environments throughout the UK. Having achieved valuable experience in the tourism industry, I consider myself multitalented, versatile and confident in: managing events; ensuring staff are trained; cash handling; dealing with the huge demand of customers at any one time; working under pressure and being in the frontline ensuring everyone has the best possible experience.
My skills include: being highly organised; good literacy and IT skills; manage own workload; use initiative to resolve issues; management skills; health and safety; work within budgets, and above all, am able to keep a sense of humour under pressure.
Having always owned a variety of animals am experienced and committed to their daily requirements. My love for animals gives me opportunities to walk dogs; together we visit and experience many of the outstanding local areas.

With my two diplomas in Performing Arts enjoyed a diverse career of over 30years in entertainment and leisure.
